Welcome to Banbury Cross
Sailing Club

The Banbury Cross Sailing Club is located on Grimsbury Reservoir, just off Hennef Way in Banbury, Oxfordshire (location map). We are a small, friendly club that welcomes new members whether they are complete beginners, keen to race or families with children.

The most common types of dinghys sailed are Lasers, Toppers, Picos and GP14s. The club owns several boats which members may use.

Official sailing days are Thursdays (6pm) and Sundays (9am), with races held on both days. Regular trips are also organised to the south coast and larger inland waters.

Sailing lessons and RYA courses

We are a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) approved training centre and run courses including RYA Level 1 and Level 2 certificates.
